Interlloyd Averij B.V. is
Lloyd's agents for the Netherlands. Our main activities are marine surveys (cargo and hull), project cargo, claims adjusting and recoveries.
Following a merger in 1994 and subsequent restructuring, the following historical average agencies within the Benelux countries became fully integrated, viz.

Apart from
Beeckman de Vos, which operates under its own name and management, all other agencies are operating under the name of
Interlloyd Averij B.V. A further exception is
Wambersie & Gompertz B.V., under which name we are handling Hull and Machinery claims, plus P & I business.
We have a dedicated surveying staff (for all types of general cargo, project cargo, warehouse inspections, etc), plus specialists involved in claims adjusting and recoveries.
Wambersie & Gompertz B.V. , established in 1855, is acting as average agents on behalf of Hull- and Machinery Underwriters all over the world, however in particular for German, Swiss and East European Underwriters. The activities focus on the shipping business in its most extended form, appointing H & M surveyors, lawyers, supervising, providing guarantees, recoveries, intensive contacts with Dutch authorities, such as the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat), Dutch provinces. W&G is covering all the main ports in The Netherlands.
